Water Ionizers are rapidly becoming well-known as an vital health product in the U.S.A. market. In Japan where water ionization got its beginnings, approximately one out of every five homes owns a Water Ionizer. In the United States approximately one out of 18,000 homes owns a water ionizer. The Japanese are well-known for their healthy living and longevity. Perchance there is a lesson for us in these statistics.

Water Ionizer Machines – What Are They?
Water Ionizers are used to make Alkaline Water which is used for helping balance body pH. The preferred method for ionization is with electrolysis whereby water passes between metal plates that are highly charged, and the strong electrical current “restructures” the water molecules making two outputs – one output with a high concentration of OH- ions and the other output with a high concentration of H+ ions. The OH- water is alkaline and the H+ water is acidic. The acidic water can be used for external use such as a “Beauty Water” to complement the skin’s natural acid mantel. The Alkaline Water is used for drinking. Depending on the Water Ionizer Machine, various degrees of pH are made. Strong Acid Water of 2.5 pH is used for cleaning and sterilizing the kitchen and bathroom, and thereby reducing the need for harmful chemical cleaners. Strong Alkaline Water, or Kangen Water (tm Enagic), of 11.5 can be used for washing pesticides from vegetables and fruits.
