Today we start part 4 of some the the ways to overcome stress. These are the tips from 31-40.

31. Study Religions

You may not want to believe all that they do, but looking at belief systems others have can bring many ideas from making sense of your own life. Do a little research in your local library or use a web.

32. Have Clear Goals

Have one major goals in your life at a time and spend time focusing on it. Make it achievable in three months. At the end of the three months, review your progress and set a new goal.

33. Eat Cleanly

Cut down on the weekly shopping bill and the fats your consume by simplifying what you eat. Avoid rich sauces and fussy concoctions at least a few nights a week. Enjoy simple foods such as meat, vegetables and fruits the way nature intended, lightly cooked with a touch of seasoning or raw.

34. Nix Teenage Peer Pressure

A great deal of stress for teens comes from wanting to cant up with their peers in fashion, cars, technology and exams. Instead, teach your teen to have sense of his or her own individuality and goodness just from being the person he or she is. Praise the teen for having the ability to think about what is right fro them. Help them withstand the pressure to be like everyone else.

35. Reconfigure Your Space

De-stress yourself and simplify yourself and home by keeping your furniture minimal, making your home feel neat and spacious. Move your sofa into a quieter corner and change your bed so it is not opposite or right next to the doorway. Spend some time each week pottering in the garden among birds and the bees. Mother nature can heal and she can make your life feel relaxed and simple.

36. Get A Mentor

Identify someone you know who has organised his or her life simply and happily. Ask him or her to mentor you, spending a little time with you when life seems to hectic, helping to cut away the non-essential clutter.

37. Be Environmentally Friendly

Do something good for the world everyday and make life easier for yourself; buy loose produce to cut down on packaging waste, recycle all you can, plant a new tree, and buy energy efficient appliances.

38. Beware Of Moral Stress

If you feel great moral stress do something like go to the doctor for help. This can lead you at high risk of cardiovascular disease.

39. Acknowledge Psychosomatic Complaints

Watch out for signs of chronic stress such as migraines, stomach-ache and stress-related diseases. Seek counseling to work out the stress rather than burying symptoms with complex medications that have side effects.

40. Getting Married?

The wedding day is usually rated as one of the most stressful days of people’s lives. Avoid the heartache, take a few close friends and family to a secluded spot and enjoy the simplest of ceremonies. Otherwise if you can’t, go outside in the garden or terrace and inhale and exhale for 5 or 10 minutes. This will help you feel better.
