How Facial Rejuvenation Massage Can Help Stave Off The Appearance Of Ageing

Indian face massage is a natural, safe, non-invasive and thoroughly relaxing treatment.
Our faces show how we feel – stress, negative emotions, frowning, mouth chewing and unhealthy lifestyle choices all leave their imprint. Additionally, unhealthy food choices, too much caffeine, built up toxins, excessive sun exposure and not enough hydration will leave the face looking grey and lifeless.
The facial rejuveantion massage treatment provides a natural face-lift and anti ageing treatment which works by freeing up constrictions within the facial muscles and connective tissues.
Treatment consists of a combination of gentle massage of the face, lymphatic drainage, acupressure and energy balancing which takes approximately 40 minutes. Through this treatment, the facial muscles are given a new lease of life.
Therapists will start with a small consultation to find out your lifestyle and skin care routine. Then you will lie down, fully clothed, and get comfortable. Initially the treatment consists of holding a number of meridian points on the face which stimulate the face but feels extremely relaxing and settles you down. Then there will be a series of circular motions around the face twice over. This is followed by sweeping and uplifting movements in a couple of sequences and some final settling movements. The therapist will do one side of the face first and during the first treatment may well sit you up to show you the effect of this in a mirror before treating the other side. Of course you may well be too relaxed to go and not care how it looks – and this is fine.
Practitioners are trained at the London Centre of Indian Champissage via an intensive 4 day course. They are required to provide a number of case studies with pictorial evidence to prove their competence and also take an exam which covers what is learned about anatomy and physiology of the face and body. Similar facial treatments are offered which are not the same.
One off treatments are a wonderful treat in a busy world, but to really notice physical changes to the skin texture, tone and lift appearance, a course of 6 is recommended at regular weekly or fortnightly intervals – fantastic for a special occasion such as milestone birthday or wedding. Additionally the Practitioner may give you facial exercises to do at home which increase the benefits and positive effect of the treatment. They may well recommend some small lifestyle suggestions such as increase in water intake, natural products for the skin, reduction in sugar and coffee. Many Practitioners will offer discounts on block bookings.
Facial Rejuvenation treatments are also fantastic for sinus problems and sinus congestion, depression, anxiety, stress and general toxic overload.
Although it is hard to stave off the ageing process, Facial Rejuvenation can do much to extend the appearance of youth and beauty and help us take care of the assets we possess
