Cigarette smoking can ruin a young person’s life and as a parent, you will naturally be very worried to learn that your teenage children have begun to smoke cigarettes and even worse have become addicted to nicotine. You would indeed want to find some modes which help your teenager to refrain from smoking. Fortunately, there are a many strategies that help all those who would like to cease using tobacco and nicotine products in any form.

Don’t Yell Or Berate Your Children -Firstly, you must understand that shouting and criticizing your teenaged child to quit smoking is not going to have the desired result and it might wind up to a more unpleasant situation. And also make them realize, the younger a person quits, the greater the benefit.

Love your teen. Say out loud that you know this is going to be hard and you are always there to help them every step of the way - no matter how difficult the process turns out to be. Don’t assume your teen knows this already.

Another way by which you can help teenagers is to See a professional and seek their advice on how to go about quitting .Which types of smoking cession aids your teen can use should be used under the guidance of a doctor. Ask your teen’s doctor about smoking cession classes in your area. Teens may respond more positively to an out side professional than to their own parents and since the smoking habit is definitely very hard to kick.
