7 Worst Things You Can Say In The Gym…(funny)?

If you’re guilty of one, you’re human.  If you’re guilty of two or more, question yourself how serious you are about your fitness and physique…

After you read each one, tell me what is incorrect with each statement…

1. “I’m not sure if I should do upper body or lower body tonight…”

What the heck are you doing at the gym without a plot?!

2. “What are you training tonight?  Back and biceps?  I was going to do chest and triceps but I’ll do you’re workout instead.”

I know it’s more exciting to train with a friend than alone but how confident could you possibly be in your workout if you change it within a split second of arriving?

3. “I was going to do cardio tonight but I got to get home.”

Poor plotting.  Next time, this fellow should have arrived earlier.  Every time you cut your workout small, it becomes simpler and simpler to do it again next time.

4. “Do you want to call that a workout?”

You’re either done your workout or you’re not!  If you were following an actual plot then you could not question your workout partner this wimpy question.

5. “I am busy right now. Can I call you back?”

LOL. Why the heck would you bring a cell phone into the gym if you’re just going to tell them you’re busy!  Please step out of your office before you come to the gym.

6. “I was really using that…(referring to a piece of equipment)”

Ever have this happen to you?  You start using a machine and someone comes up to you and informs you that they were using it?  I answer, “No you weren’t, you were over there using a different machine.”  Don’t say you’re “using it” unless you are really “using it.”

7. “Do you come here often?”

Yes, this one was said by the dude attempting to land a date on Saturday night with the cute brunette. Where are you going to write her number?  Over the lat pull down machine?!  Guys, meet the ladies after your workout, not during.  Unless you’re a personal trainer – it has a low success rate. I know from experience :)
